If you love Japanese food, you may have heard of Shio pan already. Shio pan trend originated from Japan and it has been the hype in Asian countries for a while now.
Shio means salt and Pan is bread in Japanese. This salty bread is made from Japanese milk bread ingredients but it has a nice chewy crust on the outside and the inside is soft and buttery. Hakata sea salt from Japan is sprinkled on top to give it a nice savory kick.
This may not be grammable pastry but its simplicity brings out the full flavour of the ingredients and you can easily be addicted. 😋 Please give it a try!
